Tari flinches at the sight. Two of the most horrific creatures she has ever seen are suckling each of the crone’s sagging breasts. They are as black as night, have pointed snouts, spiny black fur, and their two tails are coiled around each other, as in a lovers’ embrace. She recognises the eyes though – big red orbs. A few days ago, I found out I had been selected to be part of an interesting project designed by Collabowriters. From the hundreds of submissions, I was picked to join three other writers.
I was obviously ecstatic. After all, I was trained as an engineer—hadn’t even thought of writing anything creative before mid-2015. And to find out that I had been chosen from a pool of hundreds of writers to be in the top 4—suffice to say, I was thrilled.
